Dear friend,
ReplyDeleteI designed it in 1994 when JNTU was one Unit with 3 colleges each having a strength of around 50 per branch and there were only 5 branches. Hence last two digits were sufficient for almost 10 years. After that colleges were affiliated and when the strength of each branch exceeded 99, it was decided to use AA to ZZ so that the programs run without any change.
You may find that the course code B and C are missing which were used for Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Fine Arts courses. The type 2 was for part time courses and 3 was for contact and correspondence courses. 5 was used instead of 4 for personal preference.
